Computational systems biology aims at discovering novel emergent biological properties that may arise from the systemic view. With the use of interdisciplinary tools to obtain, integrate, and analyze the vast amount of complex heterogeneous data from multiple experimental sources, computational systems biology is believed to play a key role in understanding the entirety of processes that happen in a biological system. We are particularly interested in how these biological processes can be further studied via the fusion of genomics, proteomics, interactomics, transcriptomics, metabolomics, and many other omics principles.
